Eesti Firma Joins the Estonian Chamber of Commerce and Industry

Eesti Firma OÜ is now an official member of the Estonian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ECCI), confirming its reliability and standing in Estonian business.

Eesti Firma OÜ has become an official member of the Estonian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ECCI) — the oldest and largest business organisation in Estonia. Membership is granted on the strength of a company’s track record, so for us it is an independent confirmation of the way we work: reliably, professionally and with steady growth behind us. Eesti Firma now belongs to a network that unites thousands of Estonian businesses, and we are grateful to every client and partner whose trust made it possible.

In short

Eesti Firma OÜ is now an official member of the Estonian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ECCI) — Estonia’s oldest and largest business organisation, established in 1925 and uniting around 3,400 companies.

Prestige and Company Development

The Estonian Chamber of Commerce and Industry was established in 1925 and re-established in 1989 after the Soviet period. Today it has around 3,400 members, the great majority of them small and medium-sized enterprises. According to a study by Credit Info Estonia (Krediidiinfo), those members generate more than 41% of the combined net turnover of all Estonian companies and around 42% of their net profit, while accounting for over 85% of the country’s exports. Joining an organisation of that weight places Eesti Firma among the recognised names in Estonian business — and, more practically, marks a new stage of growth and cooperation for us.

We do not treat membership as a finish line. Taking part in the Chamber’s work lets us learn from the practices of other members, sharpen our team’s expertise and contribute our own. We intend to be active in ECCI events and initiatives, and to keep raising the standard of the services we offer clients.

As an official member of the ECCI, Eesti Firma also takes on a wider role in developing Estonia’s business environment. We bring foreign entrepreneurs to Estonia, help them establish Estonian companies, and provide legal and accounting support at every stage of doing business — which in turn makes the country a more accessible place for international founders.

Benefits for Clients and Partners

Membership is not only a badge; it changes what we can put at our clients’ disposal. Three advantages matter most:

  • Up-to-date information and expertise. We have access to the Chamber’s business information, consultations and training programmes, which keeps us ahead of changes in Estonian law and EU regulation — and lets us give clients advice that reflects the current rules rather than last year’s.
  • New partnerships and markets. Chamber events and matchmaking open doors to contacts, projects and target markets we would not reach on our own. A wider network means a broader range of services for clients and joint projects in Estonia and abroad.
  • Representation of business interests. The ECCI monitors legislative initiatives and speaks for the business community before the parliament, government and ministries. Through the Chamber we can raise the issues our clients actually run into, at the level where they get decided.

Membership is also a signal in its own right. The Chamber is widely used by foreign partners as a first reference point when checking an Estonian counterparty — one more reason for our clients to be confident about who they are dealing with.

Trust, Openness and Responsibility

Openness and responsibility have shaped how Eesti Firma works from the start, and membership reinforces both. The ECCI’s mission is to develop entrepreneurship in Estonia — a goal we share, and one that comes with obligations: contributing to the business environment and holding to high ethical standards. Within this network we are ready to share our experience more openly, adopt what our colleagues do well, and support initiatives that strengthen Estonian business.
